Description Oliver 2009-11-26 06:55:26 UTC
Version:           2.2.1 (using KDE 4.3.1)
Compiler:          gcc (Gentoo 4.3.4 p1.0, pie-10.1.5) 4.3.4
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

Hello,

I just imported my Amarok 1.4 MySQL database into Amarok 2.2.1.

Import went without problems but I found that all imported lyrics contain some kind of XML tags. They start with something like

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><lyrics artist='The Beatles' site_url='www.lyriki.com' page_url='http://www.lyriki.com/index.php?title=The_Beatles%3AEight_Days_A_Week' title='Eight Days A Week' site='Lyriki' add_url='http://www.lyriki.com/index.php?title=The_Beatles%3AEight_Days_a_Week&action=edit'>

All lyrics have

</lyrics>

at the end.

Sometimes they also contain coded special characters like

Love you ev'ry day girl, always on my mind

Is this a bug on import, is it possible to fix the lyrics in the external Amarok 1.4 MySQL database or in the embedded MySQL database Amarok 2.2.1 uses?

I'm going back to Amarok 1.4 until I find a way to fix the lyrics.

Oliver
