Version: (using KDE 4.3.1) OS: Linux Installed from: openSUSE RPMs I have created new icons for use with Konsole - Super User mode. They are the same as the existing 'utilities-terminal' series of icons, except that their 'screen' color has been changed to red. This makes it easier to distinguish a Konsole - Super User application from a normal user's Konsole application, especially when used on the desktop or taskbar. Ideally, it would be great to have the Konsole application itself display the red version in the tab bars, and on the taskbar representation, when running in Konsole - Super User mode. I would attach them, but there doesn't seem to be a way of doing that here.

It would seem that the Konsole application uses the 16x16 icon size when it is displayed on the tab bars and taskbar. Getting Konsole to use the 'black' or 'red' icon, depending on what mode it is running in, would extend the differentiation to the user on which application is being represented.
Hello geoff, Thank-you for the contribution. Konsole does not ship a 'Super User' mode by default, this is presumably an OpenSuSE add-on. I'm reassigning this to 'Oxygen' as this is the project that provides the artwork for Konsole. > Ideally, it would be great to > have the Konsole application itself display the red version in the tab bars If you create a profile for a root terminal using Settings -> Manage Profiles you can specify the icon that appears in the tab bar.
One other thing, the icons need to be available in SVG format as well as png.

I like the icon but as already written there is no sudo terminal in addition it's not very common nowadays to start GUI apps in sudo mode. If you like submit a krusader and krusader sudo icon cause this really didn't fit oxygen-icons.
