Description sverrmoe 2009-11-23 22:28:50 UTC
Version: 1.3 (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

Dolphin treats a pure text file as a GMC-link as file type. If I add the extension .txt it reads it as a text document.

The filename has two words with a space between them --> "Quantum Alignment". Using "Quantum Alignment.txt" makes dolphin classify it as a text file.
Comment 1 sverrmoe 2009-11-24 16:41:20 UTC
I think I filed this under wrong product. It should be dolphin.
Comment 2 Christoph Feck 2009-11-24 23:58:01 UTC
Without an extension, the file type has to be guessed by the contents of the file. If you can share the offending file, please attach it.
Comment 3 sverrmoe 2009-11-28 21:49:56 UTC
I don't think I could share the file as it contains confidential information.
