Version: 1.0 Alpha2 (0.9.4) (using KDE 4.3.3) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Some times I already had the problem, that choqok stopped updating my timeline, although there were new tweets in it (I could see it on my twitter home page). After being rather annoyed of that, the next time the error appeared I deselected HTTPS usage and attached wireshark. Result: When the problem was appearing, the twitter service clearly answered the request with "HTTP/400 bad request" and the XML attached was stating "Rate limit exceeded". I guess all searches, own tweets and profile access, clicking "in reply to" and so on does count as API call as well, so this will surely be correct, but choqok did not notify me about that. So when looking at the choqok window there is a status bar at the bottom already that very rarely shows some information, like when it's updating the timeline. When it's not updating at the very moment, it should show the API calls that are left this hour (some clients do that, so the info should be available) like "98/150" and showing the hover hint "Requests left this hour". And when the limit is exceeded, then it should notify permanently in this status bar "rate limit exceeded this hour".
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
Choqok is unfortunately no longer maintained. If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here: https://invent.kde.org/network/choqok You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived. Sorry for the inconveniences.
