Installed from:    openSUSE RPMs

Currently the Kate application and katepart embedded in different applications like KWrite and Konqueror all use their independent set of settings. In my opinion many (if not most) users would like to use the same settings. Personally I am always confused when I have changed a setting in one of these apps and, using an other one, I still get the old behavior.

Please make Kate and kateparts use the same settings everywhere or add an option to make them use the same settings (like embedded Konsoles in KDE 3).

In KF5, all things use the same settings.
