Description andrealexandre 2009-11-21 12:01:22 UTC
Application that crashed: kontact
Version of the application: 4.3.2
KDE Version: 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2)
Qt Version: 4.5.3
Operating System: Linux 2.6.31.5-desktop586-1mnb i686
Distribution: "Mandriva Linux 2010.0"

What I was doing when the application crashed:
Hi,
-trying to print an email: kmail crashes,
-retry to print the same email : kmail crashes.
-log of/on, trying to print the same email: kmail crashes
-trying to print another email: it works!
-the mail causing problems was an email sent by amazon concerning my customer order ( a regular email, standard one).
-It works for another email from amazon. Don't know what is special in that one.

Regards,

It seems that email has some special HTML causing the HTML rendering engine (KHTML) to fail and crash the application.

- If you can reproduce the crash at will (or you experience this regularly), can you install the "kdelibs5-debug" package and post a complete backtrace here?

It would be useful to have that mail as a testcase, but I guess it contains personal data...

Thanks

hi,
thanx,
I tried to find kdelibs5-devel into my mandriva 2010 ONE.
I was not able to find it. I've downloaded "kdelibs4-devel".
Attached a new crash report. I don't know if that one is more
useable.

Concerning the email which crashes kmail, i tried to forward it to
another email adress i own and "no problems". I can print.
Very strange.

regards,
alei,
