Version: 2.2.1 (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-6.slh.2-sidux-686 The last played songs that are shown in the current song applet when no songs are played have overlapping text. Last playtime overlaps with the play score for some letters. I'll attach a screenshot.

Is this still valid in Amarok 2.2.2 or current git?
Yes, still valid for 2.2.2.
Thank you for the feedback.
This should be solved in the upcoming Amarok 2.3.1, to be released next week. Please test and report back.
Closing for lack of feedback.
Problem still exists in 2.3.1, doesn't look different from screenshot posted.
Thanks for the feedback.
Created attachment 50705 [details] Screenie of the last played items It’s been fixed to some extent in current git; there’s no overlapping text here except for the closing parenthesis (3rd item in the screenie), and the dots at the end of truncated labels overlap with the following item.
Looking at your screenshot it doesn't seem to fixed: the "o" from "ago" still is covering the "S" from "Score". Did you try with another language e.g. German? And did you try with another font size? As you can see in my screenshot I use a bigger font size. Maybe it would be better to completely get rid of the word "Score" in this view?
This should be fixed by this commit: commit 8823e62192f0733711713640bf2614ce6acf8a7e branch master Author: Ralf Engels <ralf-engels@gmx.de> Date: Wed Oct 27 11:04:43 2010 +0200 Small current track applet refactoring. Much simpler logic for layout. Make it behave sensible when no image is given.
