- Did you enabled some special debug method using the "kdebugdialog" tool ? - Does Kontact crash again if you repeat the situation you described? Thanks
Kontact crashes mostly on startup. I'm not allowed to report the startup-bug because of to few information. This was the first time it crashes on closing. I will try to reproduce it. The kdebugtool may have some "special" settings because I'm trying to sync akonadi with an internet syncml-server, but it didn't work so far. I tried a lot of settings (akonadi, syncmlclient plugin for akonadi, addressbook plugin for akonadi, kdebugdialog...) so I'm not sure which combination caused this crash. Maybe there's a dependency with the startup crashes, so here's the trace: Application: Kontact (kontact), signal: Segmentation fault [KCrash Handler] #6 0x0058a1f9 in Kontact::Plugin::identifier() const () from /usr/lib/libkontactinterfaces.so.4 #7 0x0075650e in Kontact::MainWindow::activatePluginModule() () from /usr/lib/libkontactprivate.so.4 #8 0x007565c4 in Kontact::MainWindow::setActivePluginModule(QString const&) () from /usr/lib/libkontactprivate.so.4 #9 0x0804bd0f in _start () Am Samstag 21 November 2009 14:48:43 schrieb Dario Andres: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215481 > > > Dario Andres <andresbajotierra@gmail.com> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- > - CC| |andresbajotierra@gmail.com > > > > > --- Comment #1 from Dario Andres <andresbajotierra gmail com> 2009-11-21 > 14:48:41 --- - Did you enabled some special debug method using the > "kdebugdialog" tool ? - Does Kontact crash again if you repeat the > situation you described? The second backtrace you posted is the crash being tracked at bug 193514. It seems different to the first one you posted so I can't really tell if it is the same issue... Regards
This crash report is at least 3 years old and there were no further comments or status updates since then. Therefore we believe that this crash is already fixed in recent KDE 4 versions or the backtrace is no longer applicable to the current KDE 4 sources. If the crash still happens with a recent KDE version (4.10.5 or 4.11), please add an updated backtrace or provide steps to reproduce.
