Description charleshixson 2001-03-04 23:16:14 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: knode
Version: KDE 2.1.0
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 6.9.2
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-75)
OS: Linux 2.2.17-8smp i686
OS/Compiler notes:

I request that KNode be designed to allow one to specify a selection of articles to be downloaded so that while one is reading one of the articles the remaining articles are already in process. This could be specified by say selecting a thread and pressing a download button.

Hi

I just thought that I would add something. I think that this is the right bit.

I think that it would be nice if it was possible to download all the bodies
of articles as well as the headers. This would be for off line viewing.

You sould be able to click on a group and download all the headers and
bodies. Or just the new headers and bodies. Or download all headers that are
under a set amount of days. Or download all bodies in subscibed groups.

Or how the other person said

"I request that KNode be designed to allow one to specify a selection of
articles to be downloaded so that while one is reading one of the articles
the remaining articles are already in process. This could be specified by
say selecting a thread and pressing a download button."

Thanks

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
