Description: Dolphin crashes after an attempt to copy files and folders from flash to hdd. (skip/overwrite question showed, no cancel attempt) @ogrizzly@gmail.com: does Dolphin crash again if you repeat the same situation ? A similar KIO issue is being tracked at bug 191589. (but I'm going to keep this as Dolphin main report for this crash) Thanks

From the other reports: --- What I was doing when the application crashed: crash at end of copy to cifs mounted share in Dolphin (maybe when permissions on samba share do not allow permissions/ownership change) --- What I was doing when the application crashed: I copied hidden files and hidden directories and was asked whether I wanted to overwrite a file. Then dolphin crashed.
I am sorry but I cannot repeat the exactly same situation because there were a lot of files and folders to copy. Some of them existed in the target directory, some of them don't. Very similar situation does not cause the crash. I have copied the same content from the same SD card. Only the target directory and its content was different. So the right answer is probably no, it doesn't crash again.
From bug 215363: --- I was use a SMB share and I was try to delete file from my remote Windows XP machine

As a possible fix was applied on bug 191589, this could be fixed now too... We need to track the bug status...

From bug 217744: --- What I was doing when the application crashed: Copied directory and a file to a network drive (CIFS, mounted via /etc/fstab). Got an error message saying "could not change permissions of file", when clicking the OK button the file manager (both Konqueror and Dolphin) crashes. Have reproduced the bug on two seperate machines.

From bug 219653: --- What I was doing when the application crashed: When I've been copying files from samba share to my local machine, I haven't enought space on disk. Pop up windows has raise and asked me what to do (skip, autoskip, cancel). There were three more files, so I clicked on skip, skip, skip and than it has crashed. Hope it will help you, keep the good work.

From bug 221845: --- What I was doing when the application crashed: 1.3Gb of files to be copied from smb location to usb mass storage flash that has 1Gb space left (8Gb total). Dialogue had appeared telling me that space had run out...for a while (few mins). Possibly I clicked/focussed some other windows, then clicked skip a couple of times (not retry autoskip or cancel)..then all my dolphins died
