Description J. D. Cook 2009-11-18 17:22:02 UTC
Version: 4.3.1-3.4-i586 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

When some sensor names that are printed by ...> sensors are placed in a superkaramba theme, the result is a blank. sensors on my machine yields:

If I use:

text x=105 y=665 sensor=sensor type="CPU FAN Speed" format="%v rpm"

No Problem, fan speed appears.

If I use:

text x=105 y=680 sensor=sensor type="CHASSIS1 FAN Speed" format="%v rpm"

No speed is shown, even though sensors shows 3068 rpm!

All the usual tricks about substituting names, etc. all point to an inability to find "CHASSIS1 FAN Speed". This is a problem for most fan speeds (OPT_Fan1 FAN Speed, etc.), but not for the temps printed by sensors. Also, ksensors can see (and display as a meter) ALL the sensors. It is just superkaramba that has the problem.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
