Version: 4.3.2 (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Kmail / Kontact is fairly wasteful with the display of the mail folder lists, which is painful especially on laptops, as it takes away space from the actual message display. Suggestions that should be fairly easy to implement: (a) reduce white space to the left of the folder tree to 1 pixel (b) reduce the horizontal dots to 1/2 instead of 3/4 (c) the branch should start below the dot, not the icon A suggestion that might be a bit more difficult: (d) instead of columns the number of unread/total mails should be displayed just behind the folder name A mockup with (a) to (c) semi-completed is attached. The mockup also contains (d) for some folders to exemplify.
