What I was doing when the application crashed:
I wanted to force the weather applet to reload its data, so I opened and immediately closed its configuration window. My desktop then froze for 10-15 seconds, then plasma crashed and restarted. When it restarted, the weather widget continued to try to load its information (circular progress thing), then it finally said "Weather information retrieval for Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh timed out." (that is the correct location).
