Description Chelsea Buchanan & Keith Briscoe 2009-11-16 17:12:30 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

When going to personalize settings, and changing mouse and keyboard settings, attempting to set the mouse to use a double-click to open causes a crash.

As a workaround, I'd be interested in knowing if there's a setting in an RC file I can change that will enable this.

Thanks for the bug report! Can you provide a backtrace of the crash? See

That should be .kde/share/config/kdeglobals. Set SingleClick=false in the [KDE] section.

I hope this is an adequate backtrace. I tried to add the right debuginfo packages to clear up the ??'s, but there are still some in here.

Comment 3 Dario Andres 2009-11-21 15:44:05 UTC
- Do you have a Logitech USB mouse ?
This could be related to bug 210346 / bug 206566 / bug 203317
You need to install the "kdebase4-workspace-debuginfo" package to get a completer backtrace.
Regards
Comment 4 Dario Andres 2009-11-21 16:42:41 UTC
Waiting for feedback.
Comment 5 Chelsea Buchanan & Keith Briscoe 2009-11-23 20:38:34 UTC
Yes, this is a Logitech USB mouse. Would a more complete backtrace still be valuable?
Comment 6 Chelsea Buchanan & Keith Briscoe 2009-12-01 04:56:44 UTC
I already have the kdebase4-workspace-debuginfo package installed, so I must be missing something else. If you're fairly confident this is a dupe, go ahead and mark it as such.
