This issue is 11 years old :-) I am not using KSpread for many many years, As I have using LibraOffice, which works fine in RTL :-) It seems the koffice.org is not available any more, and I can not seem to install koffice or kspread with my apt package manger (I use Kubuntu 10-19) Doing some research, it seem koffice is no Calligra? can someone confirm? If so, I can install it to verify if this issue is relevant to it, and if it is solved.
LOL, well calligra still exists: https://calligra.org/ If you have a proper test case you can try it yourself and post it here (preferably with screenshots) and we'll see how bad it is (or isn't). Thank you!
