Version: 0.70.90 (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.30-8-686-latitude Until recently (at least KDE4.2 I think), I was able to invite jabber-contacts to a jabber group chat by dragging the contact's bulb-icon onto the chat window and dropping it there. This is no longer working, the drop is not accepted by the chat window widget. Could this feature be re-enabled (or be replaced by a more intuitive method), please?
Voting this bug. This still occur in kopete 1.0.0 and kde 4.4.4 Google talk chats are not allowed due this

Still there, Kopete 1.0.80, KDE 4.6.0, OpenSUSE 11.4. Is there any alternative to invite jabber-contacts to a jabber group in Kopete?
kopete 1.2.1, KDE 4.8.2, Kubuntu 12.04 - same behavior
Invitation by drag & drop is fixed in svn by resision 1355159.
