Description Frederic Gedin 2009-11-15 15:47:34 UTC
Version: 1.0.0-beta5 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

After a complete fingerprints rebuild, old duplicated images are still visible in the list of duplicated images even though they have been deleted.
The list of "duplicated images" is then full of single images or even of non existing images?

Did you also repeat the "Find duplicates" search?
Comment 2 Frederic Gedin 2009-12-07 21:55:08 UTC
For sure yes.

Strange. What you describe is normal when you just delete the duplicate images, but as soon as hitting the "Find duplicates" button, normally all old results are deleted and I dont see from where they should come back.

Andi, any ideas?

Frederic, in any case, I recommend to test with 1.0-rc1, although I am not aware of any changes in this area.

Retested with 1.0. Still the same issue exists :
- several elements given while only one is displayed when selecting the corresponding line in hte left panel
- I even found the situation where the left panel tells me that there is 5 duplicated instances of the same image and nothing is displayed on the centel panel

Still here with Digikam 1.1.0 on Linux

Ok, but with last stable digiKam 1.2.0 ?

At first try, the problem is still visible unfortunately with 1.2.

However, after having checked that, at least one album has been selected, I do no see the single images again. Even after, not selecting any album, single images are not visible again.
Now that I am not able to reproduce it anymore, the defect can be marked as resolved.

Thank you
