This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 3 M G Berberich 2016-09-25 09:37:47 UTC

I haven't been able to reproduce this with KOrganizer 5.17.1. The problem may depend on a specific sequence of item creations. Can you reproduce this with a more recent version? If so, please describe the steps you took to do so.

This bug may have been fixed by the patch for bug 64603.
