Description Andrey Borzenkov 2009-11-15 09:54:35 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

I have got the following mail with patch in it (quoted around truncated part):

> */
>
> All other detection routines seem to be setting those bits already.

Not all of them but yes, I think we should to this. DOes th patch below
work for you?

Input: psmouse - rework setting up BTN_MIDDLE capability

Do not start protocol detection assuming that middle mouse is present,
instead let individual protocols explicitely set this capability.
This fixes issue with Synaptics Touchpads pretending that they have
middle button when hardware clearly reports otherwise.

Reported-by: Andrey Borzenkov <arvidjaar@mail.ru>

Now, everything after and including first "--" was not included on reply.

I understand that kmail tries to remove signature, but truncated part contained patch I wanted to comment on. And I do not see any possibilities to change this behaviour. Personally I'd rather get full message quoted and removed unneeded parts myself.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
