Description Tanja Schulte 2009-11-13 18:46:11 UTC
Version: 2.2.0 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I have albums which contain tracks that all start with the same words. How can I determine which track is which in the playlist to decide which one to play next without opening the metatag editor or playing the file? How can I say if the track is e.g. "Rotation (The Drums Are Alive) William Umana Rumba Mix" or "Rotation (The Drums Are Alive) Mor Avrahami Epic Reconstruction" when I can only read "Rotation (The Drum..." in the playlist?

Therefore optional tooltips (just) for incompletely shown names would be absolutely helpful.

So sorry, please disregard this message, there was a misunderstanding with the
Google Code-In student.

It is still not possible to get longer titles in the playlist shown *before* playing them or opening the properties (Amarok 2.8.90). Tooltips are shown only for the last played songs - so maybe that tooltip part could also be applied to the playlist?
