Description Gisela Sauerland 1970-01-01 00:00:00 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmahjongg
Version: 0.7.1 (KDE 2.0.1)
Severity: wishlist
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.4.0 i686 (SuSE)

Other Mahjongg clones have an option to avoid games that can't be solved. I would appriciate to have an option like that since it is frustrating when you play and play and you don't come to a solution. Maybe other player feel like me.

Thanks for working on that game.

umm how "solvable" the games are supposed to be after I use the "Generate Solvable Games" option. I grabbed current cvs tree, and while some games ARE solvable, I still get a fair share of games for which I get error that I have no moves left

In KMahjongg 0.7.4 (Fedora Core 1, KDE 3.1.4-4), game number 874824428
cannot be solved.

The bottom of one of the middle rows has the following set-up:

Tree (on top of 8) - Tree (on top of another tile) - Tree - (tiles) - 8
- 5 - 8 - 8

You cannot remove both pairs of 8s or both pairs of trees.
