Description Brian Beck 2009-11-11 18:27:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I was wondering if it would be possible to include the lower-right hand page curl and drop shadow for the pdf preview icons?

Currently all document icons include the page curl, so I think this change would make it more intuitive that the icon does in fact refer to a document rather than an image.

Also, many pdf previews are white, so you end up with a mostly white icon sitting on top of a (usually) white background. I feel that a more defined border will allow the icon to stand out better thus making it easier to see.

This is just a wish, so feel free not to mess with it if you don't think it makes sense.

Thanks.

Thanks for the report! The PDF plugin is maintained outside of Dolphin -> I've reassigned this wish to Okular...

We don't have any Okular-based previewer plugin.

Sorry Pino, I thought the PDF preview plugin is maintained as part of Okular.

PDF thumbnails now have a drop shadow, but no page curl. KF5 Breeze icons for all file types currently have a page curl with not previewed, and no page curl when previewed, which at least is consistent with itself.
