Version: 1.68.0_alpha3 (using KDE 4.3.3) Compiler: gcc 4.3.4 (Gentoo 4.3.4 p1.0, pie-10.1.5) OS: Linux Installed from: Gentoo Packages I tried to copy a movie DVD today and even before it started reading from source, the program said that: "Growisofs >= 5.20 is needed to write Double Layer DVD+R", but I'm sure I have version 7.1 I tried several times, even compiling from current SVN, but it always yields the same error. In the "Settings/Programs" window it correctly shows that /usr/bin/growisofs is version 7.1 and it even shows a "Features" column reading "dual-layer, tracksize, daosize, buffer, blu-ray"
There is another mention of this problem at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=8257022
