Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: openSUSE RPMs Opening postscript file in KGhostview in kde3 works fine. In Okular kde4 the postscript is not displayed but instead a low-resolution thumbnail is shown. Thus, okular is no better than MS-Word os openoffice to display the postscript. In ghostview I can zoom arbitrary and always have full resolution. Perhaps okular is not a replacement for kghostscript ?
Created attachment 38260 [details] Snapshot of the PS-file in Okular This snapshot shows the postscript file in okular (compare with the snapshot from KGhostview)

Can you please attach the faulty document? Otherwise there's nothing we can do. (And yes, Okular is the replacement for KGhostview.)
Created attachment 38262 [details] Postscript file used in the earlier snapshots This is a postscript generated by the R sofware. I have the same problems for postscript created by other sofware as well and when running KDE4.3.2 on Fedora 10 as well.
Created attachment 38263 [details] Postscript file used in the earlier snapshots I marked the earlier postscript file as a png mime-type. When I clicked the attachment the browser replies the file has errors. Perhaps this works better. If not: This is a standard postscript file.
Works for me
Right! Checking again on Fedora 10 it does work but it was here I spotted the problem in the first place. So this must be suse specific (ver 10.3). Probably resolved when updating to 11.2. This is probably solved (or should not have been reported). Embarrassing! Thank's anyway, sorry for taking up your time!
No problem, keep reporting any problem you might find in the updated versions :-)
