Application that crashed: amarok

What I was doing when the application crashed:
Amarok crashes when rightclicking and selecting "do not show under various artists".
It work mostly, the first couple of times, but then it crashes.
I have seen notes about this bug, but they indicate that it has been solved.
It hasn't here.
I'm running kubuntu 9.10, all available updates installed.
Since it seems that it has beed resolved before, I wonder if it has to do with the size of the collection, I have about 25000 songs, and about 300 albums under various artists.
Since I'm not using the various artists, I also wonders if it was possible to disable the use of various artists, so that all songs are gathered under the artist name.
