Version: 1.5.1 (using KDE 4.3.2) Compiler: gcc (Ubuntu 4.4.1-4ubuntu8) 4.4.1 gcc (Ubuntu 4.4.1-4ubuntu8) 4.4.1 OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages This is quite a nasty bug in akregator... My system: Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 64-bit generic kernel (latest and fully updated) Whenever I load a web page on a tab and then detach it to an external browser, like Firefox, the nspluginviewer, loaded by akregator does not close (since that tab was closed due to the detach), goes berzek on hoging 1 CPU to 100%. I have to manually kill the process... Simulation of the bug: As an example you can load in a akregator tab this url (http://www.indicthreads.com/5103/oracle-berkeley-db-java-edition-4-0-released/) and the detach it. Take a look at process list with top/htop/system monitor/etc... NOTE: In KDE4 system monitor if you filter process list with 'nsplug' you'll see also kio_http process that doesn't finish it's execution after a tab detach. Thanks for the support! Regards, Raine
If any user, other than dev people, want to simulate it just create a feed that can redirect to any page with flash content... I use: http://reddit.com/r/programming/
Can anybody confirm this bug? It's really anoying me... Thnx Raine
