Description Tim Jedlicka 2009-11-09 05:26:57 UTC
Version: 1.0.0-beta5 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Assume you have 5 images in an album that are not yet rated.
Set Image rating filter to "less than or equal (to zero)".
Select image 003. Give it a rating of "1" (Ctrl-1).
The thumbnail selection jumps to image 001, but no large image is displayed (can do a space followed by backspace to get image 001 to appear).

This used to work in digikam 0.10. I believe it would also proceed to and display the next image (image 004 in this example) rather than jumping to the first image.

Further information - after rating an image (such that it no longer fits the filter), the thumbnail highlight jumps to the first image (001), but upon pressing SPACE, the next (004) image is displayed (and the thumbnail highlight jumps to image 004).

This behavior wasn't consistent but I think I found the issue. I was holding down the CTRL key after rating an image. If I press CTRL-1, then immediately lift fingers from the "1" AND the CTRL, then the next image is displayed. If I continue to hold down the CTRL key, then the next image is not displayed.

Not reproducable anymore in 1.0-rc1
