Description Ronny Standtke 2009-11-08 20:41:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

There is a "Save Attachments..." menu entry in the rmb context menu that only appears when you are *NOT* clicking on any attachment. This feature is so well hidden that I only noticed some days ago that it is there while constantly missing this feature.

You should either implement the "Save All" button as shown in Evolution or add
a "Save All Attachments..." menu entry in the context menu when rmb-clicking on
an attachment.

[wontfix-solved] It depends like you display attachments (you can optimalize it now). But it's true. Option "Save attachments" it's avaliable when NOT clicking by any attachment.

Closing. Please use kmail2 and open a report against kmail2 if applicable. Thanks.

> Please use kmail2

No thanks, I have been burned more than once by Kontact "upgrades"... I will stay away from kmail2 for a very long time.
I would be really glad if someone who is already using kmail2 (you?!) could just test if this issue is still there, and only close this bug report, if the problem is really solved, please.

Fixed in kmail2. The context menu allows saving one or all the attachments.
