Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.5-0.1-desktop

when we modify xmp metadata, date and time change... the current date and time and took...

that should not be changed

Date and Time of what ? metadata tags ? file time stamp ?

cannot reproduce with digikam 3.5
