What I was doing when the application crashed:
I just tried to access a mail folder and kmail crashed.

I doubt if I will be able to reproduce the bug again because accessing a mail folder is a very common operation and it had never crashed previously.

Filing this bug with the hope that the backtrace can unveil a genuine bug.
