Version: 1.5.3 (using KDE 4.3.1) OS: Linux Installed from: openSUSE RPMs As I promised in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=189137 I compiled a city name update for kstars. I added county name for the already existing Budapest and Debrecen (by removing and re-adding them), while I entirely removed Fömi (I don't know a city named like this, it's maybe some research institute and even contains bad UT data) and Konkoli (I don't know what this is, maybe a family name), and most importantly I added all county seat cities. Of course I accept if you don't remove Fömi and Konkoli, but please update and add other cities included in the patch file attached.

Thank you, but this patch couldn't be applied. City names in "City.dat" should be in English so they could be translated. In your patch they in Hungarian
In fact none of these towns have an english name which differs from the hungarian name (I checked all the towns in the english wikipedia), so you can consider these names to be english names, and you can include them in kstars.
Anybody there? Please update the location database.
I wanted to try if you added my updates, but kstars simply didn't start in KDE 4.5.1. Can you add my updates if you didn't do so far?
