This crash appears to be inside of Phonon or xine. Reassigning.
- Does Amarok always crash on startup ? - Does this happen with any other KDE multimedia application (like Dragon Player (video player) ? Thanks
BTW, the backtrace seems to be related to bug 197202.
This does not always happen, in fact, in the 20 or so times I've booted up my laptop with Amarok set to auto-start, this remains the only instance of this issue. I have not yet tested this with other KDE multimedia apps
- If you can reproduce the crash at will (or you experience this regularly), can you install the "xine-lib-debuginfo" package and generate a complete backtrace (you can get more information at http://techbase.kde.org/User:DarioAndres/Basic_Guide_about_Crash_Reporting and https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Debuginfo) to post in a new report at http://bugs.xine-project.org/ ? Thanks
