Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) Installed from: I Don't Know Currently the service manager configuration allows you to enable or disable daemons, programs that run in the background. But it only allows you to control dameons used by KDE. I think expanding it to let you configure all deamons, including which runlevel they load at, would be very useful. This feature request was originally submitted through KDE Brainstorm, and has been submitted to Bugzilla due to popular demand. Original idea: http://forum.kde.org/brainstorm.php?mode=idea&i=76126
We did have a Systemd KCM that let you do this. But it eventually died due to lack of interest from either users or developers. So it doesn't seem like there's a great demand for something like this.
