Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled From Sources Dear Friends, I manage my photos using raw file formats (no jpeg). When exporting to Picasaweb or Facebook, pictures are converted to JPEG. In Pacasa, the export preserves rotation. Not in Facebook. Would it be possible for the exporter to rotate the picture when needed for Facebook. Kind regards, Jean-Michel

Dear Gilles, I opened access to my Facebook account so you can view images.
AFAIK this is a general problem. Old photos from 2004 shot in JPEG have the same problem.
the same happens when exporting to zooomr. also, kipi-plugins 0.8.0, digikam 1.0.0beta6
I suspect this happens because for raw export the embedded preview image is used, which perhaps is already rotated or something like this. I also notices this behaviour for flickr, but only the full size version there (which actually is the embedded preview then).
This still appears to be happening, this using the plugin from DigiKam in Ubuntu 10.04, kipi-plugins are 1.2.0, DigiKam is 1.2.0 This is running the upload on a Canon RAW (.CR2) file.

This no longer appears to be happening, at least not in 2.5, I did an upload to test and it worked just fine (preserving rotation).
