- Which KCM were you trying to run ? Did you run it with sudo/su ?

@Dario: I tried to run the "login manager" (don't know the exact English name as I'm running the German language pack) by double-clicking it in the "System Settings" window. The error only occured this single time and unfortunately I don't have further information such as if it was executed via kdesu or as normal user.
