Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages In KDE 4, you can only have 4 keyboard layouts to switch between. Trying to add another does nothing, gives even not an error message. (For people not using keyboard layouts: control center -> regional/language settings -> keyboard layouts) This should be changed - remove this arbitrary limit. If this is not possible, at least give an useful error message when trying to add more than 4, and/or grey out the ">" button when there are already 4. (And add something about this limit in the help.) In KDE 3, you could have any number of keyboard layouts to choose from. I found some forum discussion about this: http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=82531
It seems this is related/the same as bug 174753. Check it. Thanks
Jes, seems to be the same. Sorry, seems I wasn't able to find the right product. I'm still not sure that this can't be solved - in KDE 3 I have the possibility to use more then 4. The forum thread I linked gives some info. And at least, if you won't solve it, add a useful error message. (I'll add this comment also to the other bug.)
