Operating System: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10

What I was doing when the application crashed:
Steps to reproduce the bug: 
1. Plug in SD-Card
2. Click on Device
3. Select "Download Photos with Digikam"
4. Select all Photos
5. Download selected Photos

What happens: 
Digikam crashes. No Photos are downloaded.

Hmm I don't want to sound grumpy but don't bugreporters look before they post a report?
Marking this bug as duplicate 100 times a day for 2 weeks now is really annoying.

This is not against you, Josef, thanks for the report.
But the next time, please, check if it was already reported before.
