Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

Hello, I have visual effect activated:
- Fall apart
- Login
- Task bar thumbnails
- Translucency
- Dialog parent
- Dim screen for administrator mode
- Cover switch
- Desktop cude
- Desktop cude Animation
- Desktop grid
- Present windows
I'm in dual screen, it seam bug only in dual screen, I have:
- Desktop 1 kaffeine in full screen (same with dragon)
- Desktop 2 kopete
For reproduct:
- click on kopete for have focus on kopete on second screen
- double click on kaffeine for leave full screen
Driver: nvidia proprietary
Faillure:
Black screen on all the first screen execpt the kaffeine window.

Note with kscreenshot with delayed the bug is not present. And when I open menu all is redraw and when all is redraw the black part is removed.

do you use unredirect fullscreen windows? If yes is the behaviour reproducable if you disable it?

hmm difficult to explain. It means that kwin stops effects on the screen where there is a fullscreen window. I think the best information is provided in bug #177495

I have been able to reproduce this for a while. It seems to be related to the later versions of the nVidia graphics driver.
