Description Pedro Pozuelo 2009-10-28 16:41:01 UTC
Application that crashed: kontact
Version of the application: 4.3.1
KDE Version: 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1)
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.30-1-686 i686
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux testing (squeeze)

What I was doing when the application crashed:
When I do generic searches in local scope, kontact usually crashed.
I guest It could be when kontact returns too many results.
I search through "Find Messages" -> "Search in all local folders" -> "March all of the following".

I think my mailbox isn't too big anyway:
bpk@osaka ~ $ du -sh .kde/share/apps/kmail/
287M .kde/share/apps/kmail/

This could be related to bug 195893.
- If you can reproduce the crash at will (or you experience this regularly), can you install the "kdepim-dbg" package and post a complete backtrace here? Thanks
