When I boot up my Kubuntu - I plug my blackberry into the USB and it syncs with google calendar and my blackberry - popping up tasks, meetings or contacts... when I edit/update Korganizer - it corrects Google and my Blackberry or visa versa. 

Tomorrow when I wake up, my 5:00am Google Calendar email comes in with my agenda for the day on my blackberry, with the edits included from Korganizer. 

The only advantage Korganizer will have is a cool and easy desktop interface to plan your week without browser quirks from Goog calendar or the tiny Blackberry screen. 

If it doesn't sync it won't swim. 

My alternative is just to open my browser and work with Google's idea of a calendar/datebook format.

We have Google support now (for years, actually)
