It appears that they don't plan to package it at all :-D

They should at least apply the patch to 4.3.2 .... the developers already sent a notice to kde-packages when the bug was discovered and fixed some time ago....
I wonder why they said they applied the patch (changelog) but it doesn't work... err

Kde 4.3.4 is now in debian, and closing history doesn't cause a crash anymore.
