Description m.wege 2009-10-25 12:10:14 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

My digital answering machine mails me the messages as a wav-file. Normally I have Amarok open wav, mp3 and so on. Which means, when I click on the file in Kmail it open in Amarok, add itself to the playlists and then starts playing the rest of the playlist after i heard the message. That does not make many sense. Of course, I can choose "Open with" in Kmail for another player. But that function a) is very uncomfortable (there is wish about this somewher) b) in this case it would just make sense to play it there.
So I thought will all the power of KDE technologies it should possible to have an embedded audio player for attachments.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
