Version: 1.0 (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2), Gentoo) Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-gentoo In KDE 3.5 (kcontrol) we used to be able to go to the Notification Settings and remove sound notifications from all applications with a single click. That feature has now been replaced (it seems) with choosing "No audio output" instead. This is a serious downgrade, and complicates the interface for many users, so I suggest you take back the button that removed all sound notifications. The reason is simple. I don't want audio notifications anywhere in the system, except for one application: Kopete. In order to do that with the current setup I have to manually go through 18 applications with multiple audio notifications and turn them off one by one. With the previous (3.5) setup I could remove them all with one click and then manually add them for the one application where I wanted them, which in total resulted in way less clicks than the current setup.
