Version: 0.70.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-16-generic

In setting section, I can display my Webcam, but when I start a conversation with one of my contacts, there's no possibility to send my cam and my contact also can't see that I have a webcam activated

Does it still occure with Kopete 1.0 (KDE SC 4.4) ?

If yes, please provide further details:
Which protocol are you trying to use ?
Which webcam are you using (driver + USB-ID) ?

I have this problem as well, the only protocol that I have found that webcam works with is Yahoo. I have tested with Yahoo, MSN, Jabber, AIM, and ICQ.

The webcam I have is a Logitech QuickCam Communicate MP/S5500, sorry I'm currently unable to give driver details (don't know where to find this out) but here is the output of lsusb if it helps:

Bus 002 Device 002: ID 046d:09a1 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam Communicate MP/S5500

Yahoo is the only one of these protocols for which Kopete currently provides video support.
Work on video support for Jabber jingle is in progress.

Anouar, there is still no reply from you after two months, so I have to assume that you were trying to use an unsupported protocol, too.
