Analog clock plasmoids on desktop.
Comment 3 Barry Jackson 2009-10-24 19:43:26 UTC
I only tried to use this plasmoid today in Mandriva Cooker (fully updated as of today) so not sure when it would have started to happen. The analogue clock (as opposed to analog clock) works fine and those settings work OK.

- Does this happen with every Plasma theme ?
- Does this happen if the clock is placed in a panel ?
Thanks

> - Does this happen with every Plasma theme ?
Yes - in Air, Oxygen and Aya
> - Does this happen if the clock is placed in a panel ?
Different, but still faulty.
In a panel the panel icon is offset downwards, so that on a narrow panel only the top half is visible. On a wide panel it looks OK.
The clock face appears OK on a click, but with widgets unlocked the context menu entry to adjust clock settings fails the same as on the desktop.
Attached pictures of a narrow and wide panel.

Comment 8 Dario Andres 2009-10-24 23:33:46 UTC
Oh, that analog clock is from Google Gadgets, isn't it ?

From your first screenshot I thought it was the standard Analog clock that Plasma has, but with an special theme....
Now in the last screenshots I can see that the Plasma Analog Clock is shown properly, and the GoogleGadgets one has problems...

- Can you confirm this ? Thanks

About - Analog clock

Yes now you mention it - it is the Google one. I never noticed - just picked it from the list!
Comment 10 Dario Andres 2009-10-25 00:06:12 UTC
- Do you experience this behavior with some other Google Gadget ?
The bug report address should be probably modified....
Thanks

More Google widgets showing same issue.

Yep - it's looking that way. I just added three more Google clocks and they all crop on the right and bottom, however the wrenches work on all but the one in this report.
