Version: (using KDE 4.3.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian stable Packages I have 3 requests for kolourpaint: 1. Support for the RAS (Sun rasterfile) graphics file format (.ras, .im8, .im16, .im24, .im32) including RLE 2. A configurable grid (meaning width and height of a gridbox as well as color of grid lines) 3. A simple gradient tool. Picking two colors, drawing a line, and a flood fill happens with the gradient along the direction of the line.
Ad 1: This is a KDE global (kimgio library) issue. image/x-sun-raster is already supported (read only), although it was not registered as allowed input MimeType for kolourpaint - fixed that for 4.8 Note: The shared-mime-info database from freedesktop.org holds the only filename patter as "*.sun". If that is not correct, please contact freedesktop.org The other 2 wishes might be nice ... let's see.
(In reply to gamut from comment #0) > 1. Support for the RAS (Sun rasterfile) graphics file format (.ras, .im8, > .im16, .im24, .im32) including RLE https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kimageformats/-/merge_requests/179 It took a while but we're here :)
