Version:           0.10.0 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-15-generic

just installed
tif file opens
all menus ok
except filter adn decorate which have no drop down boxes
kipi plugins installed

Like always, a Kubuntu package issue.
Either a restart helps, or you need to recompile the package.
In case of missing filters hopefully a restart is enough.

Or:
1. in a console, type: kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental
2. logout
3. restart KDM
4. login again

Since digiKam 5.2.0, all image editor plugins have been removed and embed as
well in image editor/showfoto implementation. There is no more run-time loading
of plugin libraries.
