Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Either make the rating display optional at all or allow unrating an image if you unintentionally rated an image in the first place. Very annoying to have blue stars visible for a single image that really doesn't deserve special attention! I really really don't want to rate my images at all, so please allow the user to remove this clutter!
There already is such an option: Settings - Configure digiKam - Album view - Show digiKam rating
@Ignat, this setting affects the album view but not the thumb bar in the Light Table. There you are hit with that nuisance again without any option to turn it off!
Unrating is possible by clicking left to the first star. Nevertheless I think also using the rating setting for the light table would be a good idea.
AFAIK this is because LightTable still uses the Qt3 image list view, whereas the setting not to show rating affects only Qt4 views (that is, the main view). So, you will have to wait for LigthTable image view to be ported to Qt4.
Ignat is right here. LT thumbbar is not yet ported to Qt4. Note that for 2.0.0, Preview mode thumbbar have been ported. Gilles Caulier
In digiKam 2.0.0 RC, whole LT is ported to Qt4. You can disabling rating feature in thumbnail as with preview mode. Gilles Caulier
