Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages I was trying digikam for the first time, and trying to make some order among the mess of some pictures I've moved to a folder to test Digikam. I was looking for a way to move the selected pics to an existing album (folder), and found that "New Album From Selection" did what I was looking for, but has a misleading description! It suggests that it's action will be creating a new album, instead you are moving the selected pictures to a new album, and you COULD possibly create a new one (the left panel of the dialog says "Please select the destination album for the digiKam library to MOVE the selected image into". What about simply "Move to album..." or "Move selected to album..." Craete a new album is not the primary action it does, fundamental action is move pictures, optionally you can create a new album/folder
It was the primary action before, but now the dialog changed. Maybe "Move to album..." is really enough here. Any other suggestions? You can always move with D&D, the action was actually added to be able to create albums while you are sorting, because otherwise you create a new album, the selection will be lost, you select again and then D&D the images to the new folder.
"Move To Album" is fine for me. Perhaps i18n team can help better here... Gilles
Ok, I will remove it from the album main menu, because it is no album action anymore with the new name. Also I will allow the action when only one image is selected, right now we disallow it.
