Description Christian Boltz 2009-10-16 22:36:02 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When the pop3 filter dialog of KMail pops up, the focus is on the help button. This is annoying when I want to postpone downloading the listed mails - if I press enter, the help is started instead of closing the dialog.

Reproducer:
- have a big mail in your pop3 mailbox so that the pop3 filter dialog
  appears
- press enter

expected result:
- same as clicking the OK button

actual result:
- help window opens (because initial focus is on the help button)

Note: When I do change the download status for at least one mail by clicking one of the radiobuttons in the mail list, return "presses" the OK button.
This means: if you change the initial focus not to be on the help button, it should work.

IMHO the default button when pressing enter should be the "OK" button, not the cancel button (which is mapped to the Esc key already).

Maybe you have a good reason for making the cancel button the default button - however, I don't see any. Please tell me if/what I have overlooked...

I'm late, but...
Verified (in KDE 4.6.0 on openSUSE 11.4) - thanks for fixing this!

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
